In-Yoga classes are inspired by the principle of in-yo, and we apply this concept in the ways we teach and practice. Through yoga we seek balance: with each other, our environment, and within ourselves in body, mind, and spirit.
In-yo is a Japanese concept that represents the dynamic interplay of opposites – darkness and light, relaxation and tension, inhalation and exhalation. The in-yo symbol is comprised of two circles, one inside the other, that join at a single point. Together, yet separate, the two circles differ in colour, and resemble the sun and a crescent moon.[ CLOSE ]
